No need for an apology really. But I honestly didn't enjoy those meme translations. You can have a high JLPT level, but that doesn't mean that you can have a good comedic sense that will appeal to the majority. Also important to consider the mood of the series or at least the chapter itself before adding your own twists.

I do enjoy some meme translations though when done right, like Duwang's translation of Adamasu. Too bad they dropped the series but yea they have a really good knack for comedy, at least for my tastes.
