@Tamerlane maybe but from the looks of it God doesnt seem to care at all other than the saints he gets brought before him so that might just be the church paying him lip service, and from this chapter it seems he is not as all powerful as he seems akin to the "gods" from Dark Souls very powerful but not omnipotent.
