as far as fujoshi-ness goes those spirits weren't too bad. They just wanted to see a kiss, and when the option of a m/m kiss was offered, they got even more into it.
That's pretty different from the usual fujoshi trait of trying to make everything into BL (even going as far as shipping real people, which is fucking gross).
