Need another search dropdown box

The box is based on my reading status. I found many tittles I had listed as reading, but they were completed in the publication status. I would love to know all the tittles I am following that will never be updated, so I can change the status to completed. This way RSS feed searches would be faster on your end. My list get shorter, your search completes faster. Also stuff I am saving can go into the retired folder.

@doppler Would you set manga that were 'completed' publication but not done with scanlation as 'reading' or 'completed' on your follows?

@Plykiya
When a series has completed. I do set the reading status as completed. I change status of follows to what I am doing. I even change to dropped. When more than one scan group is covering a series in the same language. It could be a problem for me. In the case of parallel world. Another group is releasing older chapters but with higher quality. I would rather save them than the first group to post. In the case of 2 competing groups (1 does quick and dirty, less quality of translation. The other with better translations, follows the story better) I save the better one. Now that I think about it. The drop down should be a very personal thing with the user and the language he chooses. In the case of completed in English but other languages are still being released should be taken into account.

Did I muddy the waters for you a bit ?

BTW, Planning to read is a nice category.
I mark as such when something peaks my interest but I don't have time yet to investigate. I can go back later to my follow lists.

@doppler Having your own tags match the publication status isn't quite the intended usage. "Completed" and "dropped" are meant to be your own reading status for the manga, since setting a manga to "completed" drops all of your previous read markers you have on the series and auto-marks all chapters as read since it's assumed you've 'completed' the entire series. "Dropped" drops all of your previous read markers you have on the series because it's intended to be used on series that you no longer want to read.

When a manga is set to Publication Status: Completed, it only means that the series is finished publishing in its original language. It doesn't necessarily mean that the scanlation of it is done yet.

@Plykiya

I was just thinking about all the follows I have going. The other day I was able to determine at least 5 of them changed to completed. I was wishing for a quick way to find others in the same state. Just a search alone on completed will show over a hundred.
Since English is my primary search, it's not always the first to complete a series. I have seen other series dropped by the scan groups for translations. They may complete in other languages, but not in English. Translations are only done in a time permitting way. A classic example of this is "Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou". It's always a month after release a translation occurs.

Not sure what to expect, if anything can be done to identify my list. Except look at the dates of changes on stuff I keep offline.

Thanks for the effort, at least readers of this thread will have a good idea how completed/reading/dropped is used.
