Glad to see the author didn't follow through on the LN's version of what happened after Masaru wins. This George Byron is a pretty great side character, I hope he finds a good wife.

@Dezaki nah as far as Masaru was aware, Tilica was only really around for Sati and food so he never got intimate with her.

Hearing about how he acted in the light novel is rather sad, but seeing how they've redeemed him in the manga adaptation makes me feel absolutely elated! It's rare that we ever get a good noble character who's got an actual sense of honor and code of conduct, and even more rarely so when he's actually likable and fun! George Byron has the coolest of hairdos, and he's definitely my favorite character

@boag Pretty sure the whole Golem Fight was a G-Gundam reference, starting with the referee starting the match using the same lines as the narrator at the beginning of each G-Gundam episode, to Masaru looking like Domon Kashu at the end with even the cross-scar on the right side of his face. Masaru's final attack could be seen as a parody of the God-Gundam's "God-Finger" finisher.
