Nega-kun and Posi-chan - Vol. 1 Ch. 15

@PlanOfInaction the reality of it is that the tension and drama of two people slowly getting together is what keeps novels focused on romance from dying off before they're finished cuz as frustrating as it is as a reader we still come back to read it but when that couple is made it is very hard to keep readers interested much longer without some sort of other drama coming into play. good example is domestic na kanojo which for better or worse is still going strong despite many conflicts feeling forced and kinda drawn out at this point. most authors dont want it to get to that point and just end it after the main couple gets together hence why many romance manga where the couple is established early on are at best a medium length read unless they are written Really well and allow for more storyline afterwards. moral of the story is sexual tension= more readers and anything afterwards is usually not gonna do much for readership.

when the bro and the brodette are more interesting characters than the main couple

What a chad. The guy who makes second guesses actually has more plot progression than most MCs.

Just break his weak heart with misunderstandings, like you did it in kindergarten.
