Nei to Souta no Petite Manga - Ch. 13.5

I don't feel like it matters super much. We have all seen Suzumiya Haruhi anyway. Can't get worse than that.

I agree with Kaarme. The lack of chronological order in the source itself is not and should not be a deal-breaker for a prospective reader IMO, and thus should not pressure you into jumping through hoops while trying to figure out what the chronological order should be (probably impossible to be attained perfectly without direct input from the author, if they even have any idea in the first place).

@Kaarme I know it probably doesn't matters super much, but I just felt like it's better if we add a note here. It probably won't hurt anyone anyway.

@MarqFJA87 Yes, and it's quite tricky. But As I'm translating more of it, I did noticed some chapters where jokes works much better, if they appear in different order than they're in, on Pixiv. Where we notice that, we will change the order to work better. There still can be chapters though where we don't notice it in time.

Anyway, we're doing our best. I'm glad if you like this adorable manga!

Eh, people are stupid. The fact that it wasn't in chronological order was obvious and not at all an issue imo.

Keep up the good work with the translation! Liking a lot so far =)

@Sora_92: Well, I suggest uploading them in Pixiv order, and including notes in later chapters whenever you find a possible chronological connection. For all we know, there's an actual point behind the way they're ordered by the author.

@MarqFJA87 With most chapters, that's what we'll do. But there are some, where we feel that the chapter will work much better after, or before another chapter.

Frankly, changing the order is a terrible idea. It only makes things even more confusing. You should just do them in the original order, even if you believe that it works better otherwise. Which, frankly, I find hard to believe. Why would the author then not order them differently in the first place?

@Gian It really only means a few chapters that would - probably - work better elsewhere, like 2-3 chapters. I will explain it when we're there, but I don't want to spoil anything.

@Gian It’s really not that confusing in the first place and there’s not really a linear plot, so changing the order isn’t really going to do anything. And sometimes the author orders it one way in the web version and then differently in the volume version. Not really seeing why it’s a terrible idea, just that you don’t like it.
