@Tcof If one thing I've learned from reading manga and watching anime is what western audiences consider good and Japanese audience consider good can differ greatly. Just look at all the canceled series that were highly praised by western readers and look at anime that recieve massive praise in the west only to be complete flops with no sales in Japan.



Also jest a general comment. cousin marrying in Japan is legal. Only direct relation like brother/sister can't marry though technically there is no law against them actually having a relationship. It just isn't looked on well by others.

@bastek66 just quickly off the top my head a couple anime would be Flip Flappers and Rokka no Yuusha. Both very well liked in the west but total failures in Japan.

@bastek66 I was just referring to the anime versions for those two as they were the first to come to mind of being popular in the west but not in Japan. Rokka had absolutely awful sales when it was released. In the west though people are still wishing for a season two.
