how come power supply equal battery?
power supply only convert and stabilize the electricity provided to match the one needed by other parts..
while some of them able to hold bit of electricity to operate it function and feature (like in case electricity surge/really short time blackout),
it does not hold a decent enough to allow PC operate without power input..

I am also confused by the power supply/battery thing,
by its name, it is not really wrong to says battery use is to supply power, but the technical principle behind how those two things works are different, battery like in notebook is to store electricity while power supply in OC is to convert AC to DC
