Nettaigyo wa Yuki ni Kogareru - Vol. 4 Ch. 13 - Koyuki Honami Won't Sleep.

Can anyone says what was the short story “Salamander” about? Is the story only in Japanese?

The story is summarized in chapter 1. I don't know if there's a translation.

Nice chapter. As for the closing line, it's about time.

I think the relevant part from ch. 1 was:
Q: Why did the salamander imprison the frog that wandered into his cave?
A: The colder it gets, the lonelier I feel!

The implication is obvious from that, I think.

Kaede is the best.

Their continuous disbelief of liking each other, fear of not being their only friend and that they'll leave if they're not happy can be sorta grating with just how relentlessly they don't pay attention or understand why people do stuff.

That being said the stuff at the end more than made up for that because that was a super subtle implication.

I don't know why, but this chapter almost made me cry.
I love their interactions so much!

Alright, Koyuki! Show those germs who's boss! Oh well. At least she tried. She would have totally gone to the show and surprised Konatsy if not for dad and mom.
Koyuki's dad is the coolest! And Konatsu is the sweetest.
No. After waiting by her sickbed for two hours and then calling her by her first name like that I don't think she got much sleep after that.😄

;_; Dream scenes that end with waking up next to the person you thought you had lost get to me every time

So were the frog and salamander(in human terms) “lovers” or at least “the dearest one to each other” for animals? What was the story about anyways? I understood that the salamander was lonely so it imprisoned the frog

I really like how carefree Kaede is portrayed. She is my spirit.. huooman? or animal idk
