The author just confirmed this and please, every single shipper forget that FRIENDSHIP exist? Yes, it's real, is a thing, people can develop strong feelings for each other without developing romantic feelings and wanting to be a pair.

No, the author said she doesn't want to label it as yuri and so it's up to the readers to interpret the story as yuri or not. You need to realise that yes friendship exist but when you have read some yuris, it's easy to interpret such relationship as love rather than close friendship. I mean, the frontier between love and friendship here is paper thin and can be easily mistaken.
