Still don't know how I feel about this dodgeball game.

I loved super dodgeball brawlers on nds and this game seems similar but I suppose most dodgeball games are similar and the author shedding light on this niche genre (?) is great than just a battleroyale type game

Make me wonder if the author probably want to show story where their game doesn't really sold well enough.

Uhoh this isn't looking to turn out good. They are setting up a Titanfall 2 scenario where the game is released at the same time as big competition that can overshadow it and hurt sales.

I'm guessing the game won't sell that well with kids but will grow a more underground fanbase of the few who did buy it out of intrest and fans of eagle jump. They'll probably have a moment with hajime blaming herself, then momo seeing that and also blaming herself for the design not being "good enough". Then Aoba will have a chat with Ko over the phone and Ko will tell her that if they were proud of what they made then they should be happy, and that sells dont reflect if a game is good or not and yada yada. Then Aoba will move that along to momo and maybe yun to hajime, and everyone will be happy.
