Anyway, I can only feel that this is another sign that the experienced directors should have been keeping a firmer hand on Hajime. I understand the idea of letting her get the whole experience of running a game, including screwing up, but I can't imagine a genuine company would actually risk a failure that could cost them and their publisher a lot of money.

This is basically what happened to cyberpunk recently... Also we need to turn all the cyberpunk characters into girls.

Difficulty settings should deal with the catching the ball issue, short time for hard and a bigger time normal or easy... Or even better, say something like FF15 and 7remake "Strategic Mode and Fast Action Mode"
