Is it just me or does anyone else feel that the translations have gotten worse? And for that matter, a lot cruder? Just what the hell is the translator thinking? This is closer to being trash than something I would actually read right now. It seems a little too obvious that this is just the translator's preference over actual wording because I find it difficult to think that an actual published work would ever be written like this. I know this is fan translated, but come on, if I wanted to read something so crude I'd go read third-tier fan fiction where the writer's vocab was no better than a 3-year-old's.

It isn't normal even for someone "having the mentality of an old man". It is of course normal to be less tempted when you have plenty of experience, but that doesn't mean being totally disinterested. Old people do in fact have sex (though I'd normally prefer to forget this) even if less often.

You might as well be asking why he would eat tasty food for no reason? Watch TV/listen to music/read/etc for no reason? You don't need a "reason" to do enjoyable things LOL. Even more so for things which you are instinctively programmed to do. Thus you (and the MC) make no sense here.
