this flashback has killed everything I found interesting about this manga, its kneecapped the pacing and undermined all the thematic elements I was clearly reading far to much into, and its only served to make me dislike the protagonist. I hope it ends soon.

@Xeans We can see her right at the beginning (page 2 or 3), in the first chapter. But I don't think we know who she is (a party member, the demon king?).
