Not the part where people threaten to throw you into a river if you don't pay more than what's been agreed on, or the part where power outages are so incredibly common?

I mean, the mask was clearly meant as a joke. If he went to Paris instead and brought the very same souvenirs, would French people be insulted? No, because they know the mask is a joke.
Gandhi wrestling bears is also a joke. It's like Putin wrestling bears. Why is that even insulting anyway? All it does is show how incredibly strong you guys are. I'd take that as a compliment.

As for Kabadi, I have no idea what it is, so I can't even guess how insulting it could (or could not) be.


But if you think "being strong enough to fight bears bare-handed" is more insulting than "being a dishonest scumbag who can't even set up a reliable power network"...

@nolonar yeah I get what you mean but he went on a pilgrimage so in rural areas electricity is kinda variable.... and the boat thing I just took it as a joke considering the fact that riding a ferry has pretty much died out.. maybe it’s still there but who knows since we got a well connected transport system... so to crack a joke like that I let it slide. And about Gandhi I did tell you that I was nitpicking and was not really serious about that. If you want I can just edit it out. And your argument saying that we are incredibly strong ... I am not going to lie I felt so happy... no homo. But I like that. Anyways .... I guess it’s my bad ? sorry about that..I guess it is not necessary to be butthurt about every single thing.y mistake I apologise.. I hope we can get a long better??? Maybe? Anyways @jackslate in India we don’t have a national sport. We HAD hockey as our national sport at one point but it kinda died out and right now the most popular sport is cricket. Kabaddi is a fairly popular game but when compared to cricket not many people know about the players... But yeah India was I guess the birthground of kabaddi which is nice ... wow at this point I just realise how stupid I was.... there was no reason for me to be insulted.... shit. That puts things to perspective. So yeah that’s it sorry for the essay ?

You didn't have to apologize. I can see why you'd feel insulted about this chapter. It's just the things you listed seemed... not very insulting. To me, at least.
If you thought I was criticizing you, or being pissed, then maybe I chose the wrong words. In that case, I apologize for appearing offensive.

All that Indian stuff was so accurate.also I didn't know kabaddi was made to fight bears???? Is that true??? Like....we don't have brown bears ig and fighting a sun bear seems more plausible so maybe.....
Hockey is our national sport but no one actually cares about it. Kabaddi is just rad.

Um in what world do you bring African tribal masks back from India as a souvenir? Does the creator not know the difference between Indian and African culture? I am confusion.

But other than that (and the national sport, but who cares) everything was spot on. Especially the frequent power outages, sheesh, though I hear those are getting better. It's always interesting to see India portrayed in manga, since they always take things to the extreme lmfao. I love it, it's hilarious.
