@Myst It's kind of fruitless speculation from any angle. Authors can do whatever they want to in their own little universes. Unless this ever gets specifically explained in the story though, the assumption should probably fall on the human method of all this business simply because she looks mostly human. Sort of a "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" mentality here. The author has no specific reason to make her lay eggs, as far as we know so far.
@ultimatehaki They definitely blur together eventually with enough of them. Especially when all of the novel adaptations are still pretty similar in general, regardless of specifics like isekai or non-isekai. There's also a bunch of isekai that mention it like, once, and then never do anything with it, just go for straight out fantasy settings from then on.
