Well that was overkill, don't understand why the author didn't abuse the "Weapon gets stronger the strong the bond is." cliché and have the group beat it together with the sword fusion duo *without armor* doing the final blow so they could use the unknown fusion limit factor or something to help with progression and pacing. Instead we get well pretty much a chick with a d*** in full plate.
