I don't like this at all. Everything was fine and now we have fusions with overpower strength.

Yeeeahhhh... That was pretty lame to be frank.
I like this manga a lot, but those last two chapters that scream plot armor are quite disappointing, especially in a manga that started as a down to earth relationship between fellow adventurers who don't trust one another. I don't mind them becoming close friends, I even looked forward to it. But this seems just like a forced development full of plot armor. Somehow, even though they only started to journey together not long ago and don't know each others all that much, they can activate the sword of bond that never found a single party where adventurers were close enough to activate? That's quite the bullshit development.
I'll keep giving it a read for now, but holy fuck I hope the author doesn't stray further into this, or else I'll most likely just drop it.

I'm still gonna read it but agreed with the sentiment it was more interesting before "oh their bonds are so great already, also we're gonna magically be strong as fuck". Went from a series with potential to be a 10 if it was consistent to a series that's more likely a 7 or lower depending on how it progresses in my books.
Still, I do enjoy the characters which is largely what keeps it relatively high even if I prefer more grounded plots.

The fusion is absolute garbage. Lots of ways to go around the "teamwork" "empathy" "trust" thing. But fucking fusion is probablly the worst.

Well, can't say I am not reading the next few chapters see if anything changes
I really wanted to see them making tactics and doing their best to get money and etc

Hmm, I'm disappointed with the fusion thing not because of the "DB" vibe or anything like that.
I just don't like it because only with Karen will there be noteworthy change. Using first person as base:
Nick + Karen = Dragon-kin knight
Karen + Nick = .....she get's black hair?
Nick + Tianna = Longer hair. Maybe blonde.
Tianna + Nick = She might get taller.
Nick + Sem = Trunks with brown hair.
Sem + Nick = SSJ Trunks with black hair.
Tianna + Karen = Red-head oppai loli dragon. Red-head oppai loli dragon! This is important so I said it twice.
Karen + Tianna = Karen with long blonde hair....actually want to see this.
Tianna + Sem = Princess Trunks.
Sem + Tianna = SSJ Trunks.....ok I'll stop with the Trunks joke.....maybe....
Karen + Sem = I.....really don't know.
Sem + Karen = Pretty much the same as Nick + Karen.......only Tru--
Anywho, if their races were more varied this would have been interesting. Like make Tianna a dwarf, Sem a elf or something....that would have been awesome at least from a visual aspect. As it is, I just want to see <insert base person> + Karen.
