@TetsuyaLP Well he leveled up midway. Not sure it was mentioned how long it was. But he went from 3 to 10. So maybe there was a timeskip. Or he didn't pay too much attention and wanted to make himself a bit better for registering.
While registering, did he also hide his Godspeed skill again? It would be a good idea, but if that white knight girl sees his registered states, she might notice something is up.
@twinklecake : unless they are aware of skills to conceal statuses that humans can acquire they would take the display at face value.
Plus unique skills could have downsides or side effects that are not displayed when all you see is the name, that could easily mean there is an XP penalty for using it.
@Qelix : What if she did not see/read the display, it looks to be facing the receptionist and she is likely not going to focus on that.
@defianze : there is a notable difference in price between a old low quality sword (whicih could get very cheap historically and were not always uber expensive) and fine garments of rare materials.
@TetsuyaLP: Because when MC first showed his Status, it was at Level 3, but while he registered at the Guild, it was at Level 10.
My guess, there is either supposedly a time-gap between first time showing his Level to reaching the Guild, or else the Mimic's Life skill didn't work properly, or an error by the Mangaka.
@Morose
Not only is the stats different which I think would be normal given travel time but his godspeed skill is gone. I think that was an error by the mangaka, or at least the skill was
@CountryMage the error I was talking about is the disappearing unique skill though, the knight should already be aware he has that skill so it feels a bit weird for it to now be gone while she's still there.
@sjmcc13: Yeah, but she is a person of influence and took an interest in him. If she uses her position to review it later (e.g. to double check, what she knows about him, or for brainstorming reasons) she might notice it. "Hey! That character defining trait of him is gone. WTF?" I'm a bit worried. (Though not too much.)
@twinklecake : I am expending less then you are looking for molehills to complain about as if they were mountains. If there is a reasonable explanation for something then it is not stupid or idiotic. There are reasonable explanations for 90%+ of the things that people complain about being idiotic on this site.
Especially when you realize that the "standard logic" from your favorite MMORPG does not apply in these stories because those are all based on an enforced game balance and small number of classes that does not apply. Like how this series to much of the early complaints are idiot trolls who do not understand the difference between a class and a role, and there their are tiers of classes, so they complained about the summoners dissing the MC since he is a healer (role) which you need in a game. Not realizing he is a healer (class) that falls at the lowest NPC level tier (on of the other tropes that they forgot is that the more generic the name the lower tier the class tends to be, and the name being the same as the role is likely to be extremely ), is the weakest class filling that role, and no where near strong enough to be desirable. Its strength and need depends on the balance of the world which can not be assumed and it is beyond idiotic to assume that the reader knows more about the worlds balance then the natives of that world.
@Qelix : How would a knight beholden to the king of 1 nation have the authority to randomly demand personal records form an international institution? That and it relies on the guild keeping a copy instead of just using the orb as an on the spot verification (which makes more sense since they do not really need a record of what someone starts with as adventurers are constantly growing and developing new skills or dying).
Shows a status of level 3 with a super rare skill, no one bats an eye... goes to the guild and shows a level of 10 in front of the same people and no one realizes. Ok...
