Okay, but really, it'll probably break again eventually. Might have to retire it and keep it as a memento at some point.

@deathmailrock If it doesn't bother her to need to wash and have it dry immediately. Apparently she wouldn't want to keep her hair free for extended periods of time. It's a piece of clothing, in a sense, since it's made of the same materials as clothes. People usually have a bunch of clothes so that they have something to wear while laundry is waiting to be washed. I don't think I'm talking about anything complicated here.

@Kaarme But that specific one seems special to her... and it's probably not that big of a deal for her to keep her hair down before her hubby gets home... sure, people have other items for clothes... but a hair band is still different... she doesn't seem to have another and not having one isn't a big deal to her...

She seems to keep it solely for her husband's taste along with the memories it holds... so it's not a piece of clothes to her as much as a memento...

@Psychronia It IS a memento though... that's why she keeps it... and she probably takes real good care of it...
