Ah yes! THE CLASSIC ASIAN PARENT! My mother kinda did the same to me. "FOCUS ON ACADEMICS, DRAWING IS USELESS!" Look where I'm at now, mediocre at best guy that doesn't have any talent. Lost my talent for drawing, she'd also do the things that I couldn't do and now I couldn't do shit. I'm glad I rebelled against her when I hit 15, my mental almost got boomed so I took a 3 year break from studying. Now I am happy that she doesn't care much about what I do anymore. Oh well, if only I could revive my talent for drawing I'd gladly do it.
