@burmn123 Thing is though, I've reread Love Hina recently and it still holds up. It was always dumb fun, but it can still be genuinely entertaining. So much better than all the copycats that followed...

So no, you do not have to read/watch the original

@migh Not really, but I recommend that you watch the anime. It has 2 seasons (Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu, Nogizaka Haruka... Purezza) and 4 ovas (Nogizaka Haruka... Finale)
