"Thrall" is better than Zombie for sure, but they might as well just acknowledge that he is now a Ghoul and was a Zombie before, since that is what happened, regardless of how it was named.

kinda weird that zombie was changed to thrall. while both words are used to describe undead, the original definition of the word "thrall" is "the state of being in someone's power/under someone's control" (think of the word "enthrall/enthralled"), usually implying that they are unable to resist said person. specifically, the word doesn't imply coercion, it implies that the person is physically compelled in such a way that they would be unable to resist with their willpower. it's normally used for undead that have been reanimated by something or someone, usually a necromancer. calling the main character a thrall implies that he's under someone's control... is that intentional?
