They have that delay because they want more traffic onto their own manga reader, but back then before the 2 week delay there were tons of times where their reader would crash within hours of uploading a new chapter for a popular title because they aren't willing to pay for a better service for their reader. Where does the revenue go to then? Not their own manga reader. This has led to lots of controversy about Champion Scans.

I'm also happy for guild girl, because now she has a chance, but let's face it: The chances the author pulls a Case Closed/Detective Conan - Ran Mouri manoeuvre next chapter are pretty high. Or he is simply denying it and even though she isn't buying it, she is letting go for some time. And he is better off denying it. His unlife is in mortal danger here. Love or not, they would try to put is soul to rest.

Lady, you didn't tell him how important he was for you and the guild, didn't offer him a job, he continued to do dangerous stuff and he died. You already had a fat chance and blew it. Though I'm happy you finally grew some, This is going to be an uphill battle for you.

Agreed. The fact that our MC here wasn’t offered a guild job in his full decade of unofficially guiding adventurers kind of astounds me, especially since he didn’t have a reliable source of income and had to keep going into the dungeon to get some money, which eventually lead to his death. You would think the guild would have wanted someone like him in their staff, and our MC wouldn’t have had to go into the dungeon almost every day, so win-win

Nah, Lento's wouldn't accept the job if the guild just offered him to be part of the guide, because he is stubborn in his dream of becoming mithril class adventurer, which is why the guild choose to wait until Lento himself want to resign as an adventurer before offering him the job, which is unlikely to happen due to Lento's stubbornness before he 'died'.
