Where do I even start with the amount of bullshit in this chapter?
No, he isn't "Rentt" and he never was. He is Lento. There is no way he could ever be "Rentt". How the fuck would anyone even manage to express a double-t in Japanese?
I want the other translators back. These guys are taking fucking liberties with the name.
Also once again we see the proof that Japan doesn't have a damned clue when it comes to the undead. There are two defining features of vampires: drinking blood and vulnerability to sunlight. So why exactly is it that every Japanese vampire is a fuckin daywalker with no explanation whatsoever? Every single one?!
And wings for no reason whatsoever. Sure, vampires can transform, but why the hell would a vampire just have magic mini-wings in human form? More Japanese bullshit, I guess.
Also the new look doesn't suit him. He looks like a kid. He'd be better off going back to full mask.
But the whole name thing is the worst. This is almost as bad as all the name bullshit in that Grancrest Senki one.

Its licensed by J-novelclub I think the light novel at least, and that's about as official as names get in these series for translations at least, though I don't personally dislike them being called rentt and lorraine at least it Isn't like in fate where they have abominations like altria

Well, vampires are supposed to always look youthful (or age relatively slowly)- as evidenced by the noble house who seems to theoretically be a lineage of vampires as well when he commented on the young lady looking like a 12-14 year old while the final stages of the disease is supposed to be after 10 years... while he himself looks like 16-17 now, younger than before he perished.
