One of my pet peeves in recent years, is the ubiquitous "game" chant.

Literally nothing about the second part of that page is needed, neither is it natural or makes any sense to use in any other setting other than an RPG, game-world. You can just present the 1st section alone, and it'd make much more sense than adding "blaze smite" at the end of it.
I mean, look at what he's trying to do in this page. He's asking of a spirit of fire, to add its "blessings" to his weapon. What part about "BLAZE SMITE" means anything to Salamander?

If there's anything I wish Jap authors would stop being so derivative about, is mixing up fantasy with game mechanic bs.
