i kind of hope its something realy underrated and extraordinary like your suggestion

but that would mean those stars blessings are about the number of skills they are blessed with... 1 star meaning 1 skill
which makes that whole 3 star and above requirement kind of fucking stupid because they build their ranking system upon the theory that all blessings are equal without assessing them first.

@Roadrunner9000 I kinda noticed that there is a number behind his skill. like that paralyze 1 and sleep 1 this somehow matched with his number of star. so maybe the number of star would affecting the skill level or something along those lines and not about the number of skills that someone can acquire.
so his chantless magic imo is quite suitable as a cheat. I mean the star blessing wouldn't mean a thing if they got knocked out without even have a chance to use their magic.
