Of Course, I'll Claim Palimony! - Vol. 2 Ch. 7

I wonder how rare nobles who can't read the mood are? You'd think there'd be some natural selection at work.

He's too much of a moron to understand anything, uwaaaa.... I feel bad for Roland and the prince...... It must be such a pain to deal with Ramor..... o3o

the scale of idiocy is so bad that it made me sneeze a lot by the sheer presence of it being uploaded

i hate that idiot couple adljjdflk can't wait till they get their just desserts!!!! i just wish it was now lmao. BUT YAY YULIA/PRINCE MOMENTS lmao the prince cracks me up but also he's finding yulia cute now... didn't he say that if yulia acted cute like that he'd fall for her... eheheheh

thank you very much for the update~

Wow, Ramor is a bigger moron than even anyone could anticipate. And it's amusing that he's saying that Yulia's group is sitting with a bunch of commoners when he's the one cavorting with a commoner despite having a fiancee. So why hasn't Yulia broken off the engagement yet?

I can’t wait till reality hits that idiot couple! Thank you so much for the chapters you guys released today!!❤️

@Eksentrysyti The heroine is technically not a commoner anymore. I think the idea Yulia has is to get the most out of Ramor, specifically connections, as she can, and potentially blackmail the house to keep the connections without the payments later. There is also her interest in the "prophetic writings." Though, the problem with the first point is that if she breaks off the engagement now, or gets Ramor to do it, she has an "in" with the prince now. Sensibility dictates that it will make her look bad if she does that, but with some time and the fact that her brother is friends with the prince, she has an excuse to get the prince's help with connections within a couple of months.

@Eksentrysyti @DeadintheWater well, the clues are actually there. Hell, the title of this story is a giant clue.
She's been scheming, preparing and setting down chess pieces so that when captain brainfart finally blows his last gasket, she can take him and his family to the cleaners righteously. Trust me, when the attempted engagement dissolvement happens, it will be glorious and spectacular as all the pieces she's placed come into play and she steamrolls the issue through.

I will say that DitW is on to something though. Her plans have to, and do, take into account that they cant provide an excuse for the other side to claim she's the one "cheating". Not that they dont try, thanks to a minor brainfart of our tsundere prince, but Yulias manages to turn that into an advantage AND make a metric ton of money from it.

tl;dr: systematic demolition of captain brainfart and our man-izing indiscriminate flower-head of a heroine is coming, it's just setting up all of the pieces for the best outcome for Yulias.

@Eksentrysyti
It's because the dude is a higher ranked noble than Yulia and the entire engagement is just so that his family can take her family's money in exchange for her marrying up the social ladder.

In this society, whoever breaks the engagement has to pay the compensation. If she breaks the engagement, his family will demand a lot of money as compensation because her family is rich. So she's waiting for him to break the engagement so that she can demand a lot of compensation from his family who is a landed noble. For that reason, she's been collecting evidence to support her attempt at shaving them off all the way to the roots.
