@Neumann1221 Nah, I think they're done w/ the mother for the time being. I'm expecting them to move into an arc about Hotaka and this new boy. Possibly at the same time, they might progress Wahei and Stalker-chan's relationship. Not sure if the twins will have much happening in the next arc. At least I haven't seen any foreshadowing for any events with them, so anything involving them would likely need to be brand new.

Considering there's literally only four chapters left (ends at chapter 30), not to mention the chapter titles in the volume 5 table of contents (seen in chapter 25),
I really doubt the author is going to cram in one last biological-mother-centric drama.
At most, one last wistful visit or observation from afar.

I hope this new guy isn’t a love interest for her. A random love interest introduced 4 (or 5 including this one) chapters before the end doesn’t bode well. I would have hoped the author spent the final chapters (after resolving the issue with the mom) on tying up the threads we’ve already gotten, not starting new ones.
