When I was in Mexico I didn't see any obese carts when I was shopping. I shopped in different stores too like Ley, Soriana, Calimax, and Super Chivas. Even a Mexican Walmart and commercial Mexicana. it might be location differences (I was in Baja California) but I didn't see any electric carts while shopping.
