1. The main girl wins, painfully predictably in the most boring way, and the fact that she's the most boring girl didn't help.
2. the only girl who actually got some character development throughout the series was just a plot device to make the MC "realize" his love for the boring FMC, which made her entire story-arc amounts to nothing.
3. The fact that he felt jealous whenever FMC got close to her kouhai, and basically having non-penetrative sex with her even though he "did not" love her up until that point is BS.
4. If he was in love with her from the beginning and was just pretending not to be for no apparent reason then that's even worse.

I'm still not sure what you thought was going to happen. Considering the attention he paid to fmc compared to literally every other character, it would be weird to think he wouldn't choose her in the end.
