When he says their chocolate tasted like shit it reminds me of that YouTube video about the Berlin blockade when American planes started dropping chocolates to Berliners and it was framed as a symbol of the wings of freedom upon the oppressed etc... I always thought that in reality the children might have been overjoyed at the prospects of candies dropping out of nowhere and nothing to do with America ideology. Also, seeing Rachel, a real American marrying to Jun, it's hilarious how different reality is from Japanese fictions.

Honestly the taste reminds me of barf, not sure if third world countries get inferior batches, It's the Hershey's chocolate bar specifically. Other Hershey products are just ok, not disgusting but not special either
