I don't understand all the complaints.
This is MD's way to support the official release.
You get to keep up with when a FREE official chapter is out through MD, which is probably your go-to site for most manga anyway.
And most important of all, this is literally just one more click to get to the chapter. This is the same click you would do to get past a scan group's credits page.
AND I don't see any ads there.
And did I say it's a free official chapter?
So what exactly is the problem here?

It's not that I don't understand and appreciate what the website is TRYING to do, but I"m a little annoyed to click a link to what I think is a chapter of a manga I like and it just redirects me elsewhere.

@Colorsparks: And where were you before MangaDex? It's not like this site has been around forever, remember. One extra click to read a long-strip version of a chapter vs doing the 20+ clicks to go through it seems more convenient to me. Besides, it may be a "redirect" but that's due to a partnership MD made with M+ (and M+ only does it for a few manga, not all of them). Hardly a hassle, if you think about it.

@Matteo230396: It seems to be going on in "Acts" right now and we're done with Act 2 and a few chapters into Act 3. Latest chapter was a break from Wano to tell us a bit about the history of the 4 Emperors and Garp (which was actually pretty cool). I think it's a prelude to what's coming next after Wano, so I want to say it's about two-thirds to three-fourths through. Just guessing though.

I admit, I never read One Piece here before. Truth be told, I just know this site a few months ago from other manga's credit page. And since then still read One Piece on other site.

I like this site because it gives more info about a manga, and that I can give rating and all. And the comment section. I visit this once or twice a week to update my reading progress, and occasionally read other manga.

Now that this site got no latest One Piece chapter, I'm just here to give rating to this. A rating that it deserves, the 10/10.
