King should have said something about resetting his strength in the way to break his limits (just like a videogame character). That's why he is seeking training.
@supermoonchrome
To be fair I'm pretty sure Murata knows this, which is why he illustrates other people's stories. He just got stuck with the unfortunate role of having to make years worth of filler while ONE took a break.
@kirin-kun
Yeah kinda. Specifically I was thinking he unconsciously makes people feel whatever he's feeling, but stronger. Like a forced empathy (or mob psychology know that I think about it). It would be pretty on theme for ONE, and it actually sounds similar to Dimple's powers.
As for why it doesn't affect Saitama- your reasoning could be right? He's also been shown to generally resistant to psychic power so it's hard to say for sure.
Have you been reading Murata's manga? He shoves TONS of filler into the original stories.
It's not just the occasions where he makes a 10-page mini-animation out of time-offset single-panel double-page spreads; entire monsters, concepts, and plot points are just completely new in his manga.
The monsterization drug? That never happened. Lots of battles in the monster organization headquarters never happened. That tournament Saitama entered never happened.
There's a ton of filler and I don't blama Murata for it but I also don't like it.
@codetaku
ah right, some may consider that filler but Murata didn't write any new thing
everything still made by One. the only freedom Murata has in the story is just action scenes.
here, may I bestow you with webcomic style Suiryu?
because people still seem to think that Murata writes any story for OPM even though he is just the artist that follows One's storyboards. though if you still consider that filler and you don't like it, that's fine. to each their own.
