Oni ga Deru ka Ja ga Deru ka - Vol. 3 Ch. 16

And now we learn a little bit more about Miku the Spider. This chapter was at times a bit difficult to translate.

FWIW, we are now roughly halfway through this series.

I really wish the dude had a proper parent, with the way his dad screwed everything up, the kid is completely messed up.

Would some body clear this up ? What I understand yuri at first sight leading to wanting to have a threesome with those two. Is that right?

Something was lost in translation during their conversation... no idea which part suggested that she loves Suzu.

@SUBARU, @Abedeus - I did say it was difficult to translate. Anyway, when Miku first transformed into a human, the first thing she saw was Suzu's sad face. She "imprinted" on that, which according to her was like falling in love at first sight. So she's always had a thing for Suzu. But Suzu, for her part, has never recognized it because she has been head over heels for Yuu since long before she ever met Miku. Now that Yuu has returned, Suzu is happy. Miku sees Suzu happy, and is happy for her, and yet at the same time recognizes that her own love for Suzu will never be returned in kind. Miku recognizes that part of this was her own "imprinting", but feels helpless about her own feelings. So what is the best compromise? Support Suzu's love for Yuu, and since Yuu will eventually be considered a community resource shared by all, she expects she will be able to satisfy her physical needs eventually through him. Hence the "threesome".

Her desire to see Suzu happy leads her to ask Yuu to give preference to Suzu's needs.

Is this complicated enough? I suspect things will get more complicated yet before the end.

@rpapo

Yeah, I assumed it was like that, but it wasn't very clear from dialogue itself.

Thanks for translating the series though, I know very well how difficult at times Japanese is.

@Abedeus - At one point, while Green-sensei was reviewing this chapter, I threw this GIF at him with regards to my own abilities...

He said he had worse students. In any case, it's not just me, but also the clarity (or lack thereof) with which the author expresses himself. I hesitate to put words into his mouth within the manga itself, though I may say things here, in the comments section.

Basically, she wanted to scissor with Suzu, and now wants to scissor and open the salon? Cool, Miku great thinking

People are kinda overlooking something.

She isn't just gay -- she's bi.

She clearly says she loves another girl, but also likes him since meeting him. She actually likes the idea of polygamy because she gets to have sex with both her female first love and her newer male love. However, she wants him to focus on the other girl, as she was first and she loves her a lot too. Kinda sweet, actually.
