@halloween20 - You will have to judge that for yourself. In some ways, the ending takes its time (almost the entire fifth volume), which is a sign of an orderly (rather than hurried) finish. Or at least an ending planned well in advance.

@Amduscas honestly it is. It's especially weird knowing that from a village survival standpoint the best ending is massive harem ending, but I don't think anyone romantically in story is actually hoping for that? Honestly, the village problem could be cleared up with proper... uh, fertility procedures using a single male donor, with no emotional/sexual baggage necessary.
