@Beregorn - yes, "play defensively" is a valid order. As opposed to normal damage-dealer tendency to hope tank, healer and resurrections will keep them in fight.
My guild in a MMORPG has two raid leaders. One takes care to explain the exact plan. The other just does "kill shit, don't die!". It works too, but only when there is enough experienced players in a group.

It is genderswap, in OSO you cannot change you gender and the system when it calibrated Shun's body mistook it for a girl thus his ingame gender was swapped.

@flannan You're giving me flashbacks of Black Desert, I was a guild officer responsible for leading the defense. You'd be surprised how my side of things gets no respect, people only care about the big Epeen huge numbers of DPS mains. People pretty much ignored half of my orders, the leader had to actually intervene and repeat my order sometimes for them to listen.

Shows how little people know about the importance of defense.

Curious enough it were my weird base plans that made us survive and even beat some bigger clans while the clan grew from being irrelevant to decently known. Sorry for the gloating, but my bases were indeed unique, as they were made with openings on purpose, so that enemy clans would think that the base was easy to takedown and ignore our walls, only to be trapped inside and be massacred by flame towers and hwatchas. This gave the clan enough leasure to send 90% of the players on the attack, while the base barely took a hit. The artillery would control crowds of enemies, while the few high level players of defense would take down the enemies who couldn't even move from the sheer amount of stagger. Worked perfectly until artillery took two consecutive nerfs and adding traps became necessary. By the way this was right after the game was released in my country, so this setup wasn't really seen anywhere

It's nice to read some PvP stories. As for me Black Desert was too time consuming, so I didn't really start. It sucks to not get appreciated, but what could you expect?

@monkey123 Things got somewhat better later on, but the clan eventually "died", because The other officers decided on expanding the alliance to other clans, leaving the few people to manage the old clan. The clan is technically still alive, but doesn't enter large scale fights anymore. I've long since abandoned the game, giving my account to my brother, who joined another clan and went to become an officer himself. Anyway, what Yun needs here is to gain experience in playing with others doing more than just support, his orders weren't wrong but he stopped in the middle. He should've paid attenttion to the enemy and changed his formation.
