Given the mentions about that othr country, Enha, and the appearance of that little spy, I look forward to an international crisis!
With the exception of the king's aunt coming to visit in chapter 40, everything has been more or less about the internal politics of the kingdom. Factionalism, a conspiracy for a coup d'etat, etc. But where are the other countries? Now that she's preparing herself to be the one and only queen, I really want to see Yuurin interacting with foreign dignataries, or even going abroad.

Bruh, queen consort's standard aside, Yuurin has all the backing of the kingdom at this point: the King's love (most important), and the backing of all three prime ministers. From what have been described so far, even a backing of a normal minister could have made any girl into a consort by that world's standard, and with a prime minister's backing, even kings should hesitate to disagree. But this time, a single consort have basically the backing of all 4 different power block. Yuurin's background should not even be a factor at this point.

@singinglupines Thanks for the chapters! This is my guilty pleasure series - a little romance (or a lot, depending on how often the Wolf King goes into puppy mode), a lot of intrigue, some action & tension, and plenty of comedy. I'm looking forward to the next part of Yuurin's journey to consort stardom.

While that support is good enough for a consort, it seems it isn't good enough for a queen. Yuurin may have the support of the palace factions, but outside the palace things are different. All those rumours about the "wicked woman that seduced the king" and now the "ghost bride" hurt her and the king's reputation. And it's not as if the support is set in stone. In a country where polygamy is not only legal, but expected of the king, many will probably think that his majesty will take more brides sooner or later (even Rijun suggested it in this chapter), because he will need a "proper" queen to produce "proper" heirs. He himself had problems in the past for being the son of a lowly dancer, after all.
Personally, I like that such problems became a plot point, since similar considerations where behind the Black Marketeer arc. And that means more conflicts and more stories!

@Misticsan You are right. I do think the "outside of palace" rumors won't be too much of a factor though; afterall, to them, the Wolf King is a cruel and ruthless king even.
