Woah there comment section, let's not count our chickens before they hatch. Aoi is trying to push him toward Botan because of her own insecurities on the matters at hand, but it's still ultimately up to Itsuki whether he's come to like Botan romantically or not. Hell, even if he doesn't quite hold those feelings for Aoi anymore, it still doesn't mean he does towards Botan. We could get the "nobody ends up together but everyone grew as people" ending. Which is totally a thing I have seen before. Totally made sense in the context of the story, but boy I bet the author got fuckin' death threats.
