Here is what happens without much detail and accuracy

Eda becomes his student
Eda turns out to be a magic prodigy
They kidnap Eda, he gets her back also meets Arios in the process
Eda, Lecan and Arios go to conquer a dungeon. A lady joins the party
The lady departs after they conquer
Arios also leaves after a while
Stuff happens they become close to town lord
Shira's student, now and old important magician, comes to see Shira one last time and cast purify on her(!)
Shira decides to disappear again

Lecan leaves Eda and the town after a while to conquer another dungeon
He teams up once again with Arios

Novel is more readable compared to other japanese fantasy novels
