And man: Ogata truly is the Chad King of Manlets. Not only does he have a doofy Amazon volunteer as his bodyguard for no particular reason, but he even rebuffs her a little bit, because he isn't easy.

A lot of romcoms I read have the "herbivore boyfriend" and an intimidating / more aggressive girl, but while Oomori is persistent, Ogata doesn't look intimidated by her at all. Embarrassed by some of her antics, sure. But I mean: she's the one freaking out and getting shy over holding hands and stuff. One of my fav parts of the manga was when they were out in town doing something, he fed her some cake with his fork and didn't even look up. She ate it, but blushed like crazy since they were in public.
