Someone explain this to me - does this mean I like beatboxing or sum'n? Or is it supposed to be somw kind of lame insult to people older than the one saying it because either side's hwad is so far shoved up their arse that they never wanna listen?

Literally got pinged by someone in a manga chapter from a comment I left 2 weeks ago saying that because people hating on genres; so I asked what it even meant here instead of bothering with it there because the rules are hefty.

Older and newer generations never get along. The oldies always think the young'ns are destroying us.

As one example, anyone who's watched an old movie about rock'n roll like "Shake, Rattle, and Rock" would know that back then old people thought the genre was corrupting the kids. And, the kids thought the old guys were a bunch of uptight squares who were behind the times. Sound familiar.

Those kids then ironically grew up to complain about the same thing, except with rap.

It's an inevitable cycle that'l happen to us, too.

@Hornyturtle ; the kind of progress that doesn't teach their kids that eating Tide Pods is edible according to ~60% of the control group - despite raging bowel problems - and that getting angry and crying over everything supposedly solves your problems. This is my personal experience with people still in schools, though - I'm not even at 30 yet and I have people only a couple of years younger than me saying "Okay, boomer."

But yeah, some of the things people come up with to say...
