Story is still ongoing, but the infrequent updates (1 new arc every 2-9 months) suggests this is more like a side project for the author when they don't want to work on Mushoku Tensei.

@zz2000 the WN is not that frequently updated because author is already going with the LN instead which already have 2 volumes, which cover up to the end of Arc 2 (he released them really fast too, Vol 1 in July 2020 and Vol 2 in dec 2020, so Vol 3 should be in a few months if is the same pace)
