Ore ga Ojou-sama Gakkou ni "Shomin Sample" Toshite Rachirareta Ken - Vol. 15 Ch. 81 - W-What are you looking at!?

The ending could have been worse. Then again, it could have been better too. Too bad for the author and the mangaka for getting the axe with such short notice.

I think people should remember that because this was a adaptation it was hard to survive when the LN ended, especially when the LN had such a ending.

Manga and anime are simply advertisements for the LN, most adaptations dont survive 15 volumes, in some cases they cover the whole LN but that is only when the series is popular enough and by the looks of things, Shomin Sample own ending certainly didnt help and as for Masamune Revenge ... its kinda odd they mentioned it since its over but then again, so did Kaichou (and I know who won in that one to no surprise) but it was in relation to sales, Masamune Revenge apparently sold well (that I found odd since I wasnt fond of how development was handled) and I doubt it had a impact on Shomin Sample ending and it certainly didnt on the LN ending.

@Exile The reason I mentioned it was because Masamune got its sequel/aftermath stories - according to Kitsune, it's a full manga rather than a spin-off, so it'll likely continue for 3-4 vols at least. Why did that impact Shomin Sample? Because in order to make room for Masamune, another series has to go (same deal when Okusama ended and another series immediately took place just one month earlier). After all REX limits themselves to 400 pages per monthly issue, so they can't start another manga until another one ended.

On a side note, Okusama's author (Fumi?) also stated that she's starting a new series in Winter 2019. While it's unlikely, remember that Japan's winter starts from Dec year X to Mar year X+1, counting as Winter year X+1. So, it's entirely possible for another new manga to hit the scene in December this year. That could further drive SS to its axe, but I'm not certain on that.

If yall find this complete shit, go read the isekai Manga where there dude fucks all 5 girls from chapter 5 onwards lul. You want harem done right? It's called everyone wins you dumb fucking authors. Not difficult at all when all parties end up happily fucking the mc

@RonBWL, Manga is not Comics that never end, Kaichou ending is a natural one as it was 13 volumes and thats normal length for a romance series and also she already have a ongoing series, Moujuusei Shounen Shoujo. Series end without being cancelled and publishers know in advance when series end and have replacements.

That note is just creating spite, yes people didnt like Masamune ending or rather some people didnt like Masamune PAIRING but its a hell of a stretch to point fingers at it for this series or Kaichou ending, reminds me when people blamed Parallel Paradise for School Prison ending.

I say again, this ended because of the LN ending, the people that read this likely read the LN and when it ended they lost interest on the manga and who can blame then? *I* lost interest when I learned who was going to win, its not the same as with Kaichou that I also know who wins (again, no suprise) but the focus on that one is different and people really should stop acting as harem series are dating sims were the only thing that matters is the damned ship, there is no better way to ruin a series community that shippers.

The author only has himself to blame, what was he thinking? In one volume he says "ok no more Aika" and the next he throws everything he build up for Aika.

Anyway, I take the manga open ending over the LN awful conclusion. I think anyone would do the same.

This was fucking awful. Though it's a harem, with a guy being the only dude in an all girls highschool setting. Can't say it wasn't telegraphed.

its been a nice read for a while but to be honest it was a bad ending it just comes out of nowhere and no one really wins

As if getting axed wasn't enough he had to go for the shit non-ending as well, and after he had already forced Aika route ridiculously hard for an entire volume on top of that...

Gets you! Heat up! Eat rice! Those are part of my life now. There will be other harem stories to come but I think Shomin Sample will always be memorable for those.

Be a bamboo!

Don't complain about axe-kun, for he is an unsung hero. He protect us from zombie-manga, those empty husk, devoid of any life but still fated to stumble from side to side without actually going anywhere, until someone is merciful enough to put them down. Unless polygamy is contemplated, harem manga are most likely to end like this.

Oh man, there wasn't even a kiss. Why deny even that? Sure maybe Aika wasn't that good of a character but I honestly don't see why all the hate. The story was certainly trash but I still can't help but hate the fanbase for killing this series.
