Ore no Genjitsu wa Ren’ai Game?? ka to Omottara Inochigake no Game datta - Vol. 11 Ch. 42 - Black Ball (8)

While it’s an interesting development doesn’t it effectively curtail the story. He’s now lost a primary benefit of his power, making his abilities now hers to use because she can threaten him and he can’t get to a point where she doesn’t have authority to do so.

She was always remembering certain things from the previous resets but know that she was informed of his Time travel abilities she no longer doubts them.

this is what happens when you rise your intimacy points with the quest subjects... it was stated at the beginning of the series! dude is treading on thin ice.

@draige In one of the earlier chapters, the world system explains that affection points are normally capped at 100, but if you keep accumulating affection activities, then it's possible to bypass the cap, which was implied by the world system to be risky, as the world advised to keep the affection points between 90-100.

With as high as Kurea's affection points must be, I wouldn't be surprised if she partially remember events from reloads now.

@draige it's as you read it. Dude raised intimacy points with Yurea and now she's going to go to the MC's world (remember, it was stated at the beginning of the series that these quest subjects aren't necessary your average human, they're sort of like advanced type of AI). Now that he raised those points these AIs can go to the "real world" where MC came from. It's dangerous specially with someone like Yurea or Hikami.

@NamelessSoldier very good point - if she really is starting to retain memories from previous saves then every single time he resets will essentially be a completely blind playthrough due to the number of factors that could change. It becomes less of a chance to "redo/undo his mistakes" and more of a "checkpoint" with no other guarantees. Interested to see how this pans out.

A question just came up in my mind: What happens if a quest becomes impossible? Like lets say to finish the quest, Bombgirl needs to live. But what if he sets a savepoint after her death? Was there anything mentioned about that in the earlier chapters?

Ah, I was wondering what would happen to all the progress with Kusora if he loaded a save, which seemed necessary, and it looks like since she's been involved with the black ball, she's become aware of some things and might even remember the events that were rewinded.

Wtf is your problem with placing the hyphen where it belongs?? Wtf is it with those -kuns and -sans?? Who taught you that it was ever justified to place the hyphen in the next line?? Seriously, this cancer is all over MD and it needs to die.

I don't even …

I think it's more the 8 ball incident that the intimacy points, because Hikami should also have high points, but she's not aware of the system
Kusora was always kinda suspicious, or rather, she always felt something strange...guess she's very perspicacious, and the box incident might have made her part of the game as a "player" rather than "npc" (if you allow me to use this definition).....i mean, we know that the old lady (Hikami's teacher/master) also have/had to all the functions (shop, stats, etc.), so it's not impossible that there're others "players" too...maybe Kusora isn't a real "player", but she's now aware that something's not right, making her not an "npc" anymore...

Well, he's screwed.

@FantasyMaster It's hard to say. Honestly I think it's a mix of both the black ball incident and the intimacy points. I believe that if someone has a high enough affection points with someone, there's a chance that they can remember events that happened in previous loads. For example, Hikami was still able to remember the bet she made with Kusora even though that bet was made in a different load. As for how she knows about his ability to reload or go back in time, I think that may have something to do with the their skeletons we saw earlier while they were both trapped. I think he activated the reset button, but it didn't work as there was possibly a secret requirement for it to work (probably something like it resets upon the person's death) that wasn't revealed until after it's use; so before waiting for death, He and Kurosa left her bag somewhere and made that message in hopes that it would lead to a hint for their parallel selves to use to escape. During that time, it's possible that he revealed his intentions of reloading and going back in time to save them both before they inevitably died.

Switch to the present, where the Hasegawa and Kurosa that we know got trapped, I believe that when they touched the strings of the bag, Kurosa was able to gain her parallel self's knowledge, and thanks to her affection with Hasegawa, she was able to remember some of it even when the world reloaded. That's my guess on the matter anyway.

@baconcat Hi I am the TL. Sorry that my usage of "kun" and "san" bothered you so much. We're kind of a community project so I would appreciate if you were more grateful. If you really want to keep complaining, you can purchase and read the Japanese raws yourself buddy. Enjoy the rest of your day.

Why are boobs and panty shots censored in the most retarded way but gore is completely fine? Makes no fucking sense.
