Ore no Genjitsu wa Ren’ai Game?? ka to Omottara Inochigake no Game datta - Vol. 4 Ch. 16.1 - The Secret Of The Mark (4)

I thought it wasn't going to be uploaded xD
Oof mc messed up, especially that this girl is ruled by her mood.
Reloading has a chance of changing things even if you repeat the same steps previously :3

All of her faces worry me. I can't tell if her smiling means she is happy or is it a sign that I am a dead man walking.

I wonder when this is going to fall into Saike territory and he does outright save scumming.

I no longer cares about his death game turn back time and dating sim scenario anymore. I just read this comic like a detective story with a bit of spice.

This is actually a lot more interesting than the series was when it started. Although, I really hate this spoiled, rich, killer bitch.

This mystery story with game mechanic is pretty interesting. At first I don't think this is going to be another of the B-movie kind of manga, but now I am hooked

He doesn't realize that she pays close attention to his facial expressions. The first time around his face was fluctuating between impatience and fear. This time around he was more confident since he "knew what was going to happen" She even said that she loves watching him panic. Since he's not panicking this time around, of course she's going to have a different reaction to him pulling the rice off of her face. Especially when he looks like he's doing it intentionally unlike previously where he looked more innocent doing it.

Also he needs to stop saving so often. I'd rather save once a day and redo a day than saving every 30 minutes and get stuck in a near death loop, but I guess him being stupid adds to the tension.

*edit* Also with invisible sword he could have waited a few moments before reloading in the apartment situation. At least long enough to figure out what was going on before he reloaded.

wait so if his target is dead, doesnt that mean he just failed the mission?

its weird...

why is there a "RELOAD" choice... when you can just activate it manually

or he's about to die thats why it automatically appeared ?

Could be one of those cases where you're supposed to fail to advance the plot, or there are branching narratives that allow for multiple layers of failure conditions.
