10m are considered small in gundam franchise (grandpa gundam are 18m tall, and mostly GM are 17m over. if you talking about nu and sazabi, they're the biggest mobile suite. ofc bigzam, gundam psycho aren't mobile suit, but mobile armor), i think this one is taken from code geass knightmare frame, when the body are a bit bigger than the limbs, and the mech are smaller in comparison than gundam franchise.

Why would he even need armor? Shoot a laser or something. I doubt it would consume a lot more energy than he is already using and would be countless times more effective.
