If only it was that simple.
There's always a little text underneath that says 16 is the Age of Consent unless it's an "exploitative relationship", and one the criteria for "exploitative relationship" is age gap, and no other information is given on that age gap so the law is very subjective.
It's all judicial bullshit, to make you hire a lawyer and use their corrupt system in case you get caught having sex with a 16 years old. If you're rich and have a good laywer you'll get away with it. Otherwise prepared the be called "Pedo" by the brainless masses.

Why is Kiko even interested in the poor sensei? At least with Chise, we know it's because she's been in love with him for literally years; hence why she came back into the past to seduce him. Kiko's attraction to him, though, seems like it's out of the blue. Is it just because she knows Chise has a thing for him? If so...what a bitch...and a bad older sister...
