Man, the fact this is even tagged as rom-com irks me. The "comedy" is 90% of the time pure cringe and the other 10% just random shit that may or may not give you a chuckle. The romance is even worse. The fact the author tried to make write this as a romance is honestly just horrible and makes me think he has next to zero interactions with people in general.

@Signa It's pretty bad honestly. I mean, anime's aren't based on what is popular here in America when they decide on which one they want to do. But, I don't think this LN/manga is that popular in Japan either. Look at Goblin Slayer. that thing is actually popular, same with the slime one and it took them years to even get around doing it. They literally have hundreds of stories to work with and they won't even touch them.
